It all started when…

Ecoconnections Founder Duncan Farquhar and Erin Earth Chair John Goonan were sitting around the fire at an Erin Earth open day. The discussion was around how might we help develop some sustainable revenue for Erin Earth?

Erin Earth is a special place and organisation designed to demonstrate sustainable living in the Wagga Wagga community. Soil Food Web is a global organisation focusing on building functioning soil biology, particularly by looking under a microscope to see what is going on. This project will buy a microscope and pay for Erin Earth staff/volunteers to join Soil Food Web courses. This will enable Erin Earth to provide advice on soil biology for garden composts, compost extracts and agricultural soils in the community.
