If people choose their own species they are likely to ignore the lessor known species. Our core project is to connect a person to every species. Ecoconnect choose is different from our core project where species are randomly allocated. However many people have asked can I choose my own species or can we ecoconnect as a group. You can choose at this page.

We will provide a welcome email recognising your ecoconnection and you will become a valued part of our ecoconnected community. Funds collected will contribute to the goals of ecoconnect.me in encouraging biodiversity research and connecting people to species.

You can connect with whatever species you like, you can connect as a group or as an individual. You might have a team mascot, an interest as a school class or be allocated a totem or dreaming species. If you would like us to recognise your special connection to a species we can do this here.
